This individual duck painted here has leucism which causes a partial loss of pigmentation (it is different physiologically to albinism) which has caused this duck to be majority white and cream coloured.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The PWD breeds around Australia, and its named after its upright feathers plumbing up from its sides. It is 42 - 60cm in size, and its call has a distinctive whistle.
